The daughter of an Air Force officer, Britt grew up as a “third culture kid.” She had lived in four states and two foreign countries by the time she was eight. After college, Britt joined the Air Force herself, serving as a transportation officer. Later, she spent time as a high school teacher, a technology administrator, and a corporate trainer until God called her to cross-cultural Christian ministry. After four years of service with a Bible translation organization, she teamed up with Sheri to establish the Oasis of Peace. She and Sheri operated the Oasis of Peace in Colorado for five years and in Slovenia for three and a half years.
Britt has compassion for ministry workers as a result of having experienced burnout in former roles and from working cross-culturally herself. She has also walked through seasons of clinical depression as a believer and has a heart to walk beside others who are walking through that particular challenge.
